... In his room. He's thrilled, and I'm honestly just relieved to be checking it off the list.
I don't know what it was about this project... but I just didn't love it. The fabric was stiff and scratchy, the quilting took longer than I expected, and my machine binding was particularly bad.
Spencer is thrilled. As in, beyond words thrilled. So... I guess I should consider it a success?!?! I'm also considering it a success since it's been a WIP for way too long. And I guess I did get practice with quilting and binding...
But mostly, I'm happy it's done.
I won't do another panel quilt any time soon. I will try to do something more interesting than quilting along the the longitude and latitude lines. I will DEFINITELY try to improve my machine binding. Learning lessons is a success in it's own way... right?!
Keeping this post short and sweet... Just like the project was supposed to be
Pattern: None. Which was way more boring than I expected.
Fabric: JoAnn's for the panel and fleece backing... stash for the binding. (Potentially from another JoAnn's project.)
Quilted: By me. (using different thread colors for the top and bottom for the first time ever.)
Finished Size: 35.5" x 58.5"
Checking this off my 1Q-FAL List.
