Writer's Block

The past month, I've been slammed with work. Absolutely. Positively. Slammed. Now don't get me wrong... I'm not complaining {too much} because it's paying down debt. But, it's been rough.

Some of you might remember that I hired a babysitter so that I could work part-time here. At first, I wasn't so sure about how it was going to work... I was struggling to be creatively "on" during the babysitter's hours. Then, a few weeks in... she discovered she needed surgery. So, I've been sans babysitter for the past month. And slammed. Guess which one is worse?!

Now I find myself with a ton of thoughts... and no way to adequately express them. In part, it's because I'm just exhausted... with a little bit of "that's too whiny" and a good dose of "man, that's boring to read." So I don't write. Or I write and delete.

Ah, the curse of writer's block.

You all know I am super witty and hysterical when I'm too busy to write, don't you?! Cause I am. (That's my story and I'm sticking with it.)

So. I'm just going to start posting. Sometimes it will be funny or enlightening... other times, well... I'll just apologize for that now. Some of them may just bore you to tears. But maybe—good or bad—it will work out the kinks and I can find my voice again.

And I may just post random photos too. Just to bribe you to keep coming back...

The following is a series of what goes down hourly here.

The main character: "PONE." {"phone"}

"Pone ... PPPPEEEEEEE." {"Phone. PLEASE."}

{I can't believe you won't give me the PHONE!!!!}

{Oh, the horrors!! I cannot believe you won't give me the PHONE!!!.}

{See?! Isn't this better?!}

{See how well behaved I am now?!}

{His version of "yogabesayo" which is "hello" when you answer the phone in Korea. I think.}

Oy. The drama. All over the PONE. Repeatedly on an hourly basis. Two is tough. Clearly.

{just because.}
