Egg Hunt

[We're loving all the great captions you all are coming up with for this photo... keep 'em coming!]

As I alluded to in my last post... we went to a local Easter Egg hunt. It was for children under five which was really exciting since that's a rarity it seems. Most things seem to be ages 3 and up that we are finding. So we signed Spencer up as soon as we heard about it. While we were waiting, Spencer found lots of good ways to entertain himself...

{Unfortunately, he also did this to the real duck he met later...}

And then, before we knew it, it was time to "hunt" those eggs!

Some of the eggs had pieces of paper in them, and Spencer was one of the lucky ones who found a paper-filled egg. He was so cute as he proudly brought his paper over to the registration table. He walked right up to the women, and held up his paper slip. He got a bunny whistle in exchange and was so proud of it! Here's Dada showing him how to use it:

And, of course, we had to sample the "haul" (Spencer "found" three eggs, which was the perfect amount.)
